At Black Beard Fire, we take pride in getting your gear out fast, accurately, and with care. We’ve shipped thousands of kits, and our goal is simple: get your order to you as quickly and smoothly as possible.


📦 Processing & Handling Times

  • Orders are typically processed within 1 business day

  • We ship Monday through Friday (business days only)

  • Orders placed before 10 AM (local time) are often shipped the same day, but this is not guaranteed

Once your order is fulfilled, it is handed off to the carrier shortly after.


🚚 Shipping Methods & Rates

  • We primarily ship using USPS

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout

  • We currently offer standard shipping only

✅ Free Shipping

  • Free shipping is available on orders $50+

  • Applies to the contiguous United States (lower 48) only


🌎 Shipping Locations

  • We currently ship within the United States only

  • We do not offer international shipping at this time


⏱ Delivery Times

  • Typical delivery time is 3–7 business days after shipment

  • Please note:

    • Once your package is handed off to USPS, delivery times are out of our control

    • Delays may occur due to weather, holidays, or carrier issues


🔥 Special Shipping Considerations

Some of our products require additional handling:

  • Arc lighters and matches ship as hazmat

  • This may result in:

    • Slightly longer transit times

    • Additional carrier handling requirements

We do our best to minimize any delays and keep everything moving quickly.


📬 Tracking Your Order

  • Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email with your tracking number

  • Tracking is sent automatically via Shopify

  • You can track your package directly through USPS


📦 What to Expect After You Order

  1. Your order is sent to our warehouse for fulfillment

  2. A shipping label is created and your order is packed

  3. You receive a tracking email notification

  4. Your package is dropped off at the post office (usually within 1 business day)

  5. USPS scans your package at their next checkpoint

  6. Your order is officially on its way to you


❗ Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

We understand how frustrating shipping issues can be. Here’s how we handle them:

If your package is marked delivered but you have not received it, we ask that you:

  1. Verify your shipping address

  2. Check with neighbors or others in your household

  3. Contact your local mail carrier or post office

  4. File a claim directly with USPS

Because the carrier is responsible once the package is shipped, customers are responsible for initiating carrier claims.


✏️ Address Accuracy & Returned Packages

  • Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address at checkout

  • This includes errors caused by autofill or saved addresses

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address:

  • We are happy to resend it

  • Reshipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer


💸 Shipping Costs

  • Shipping is calculated at checkout

  • We do not charge handling fees

  • From time to time, we may offer promotions where we cover shipping costs


📦 Split Shipments & Backorders

  • Most orders ship together

  • In some cases, items may ship separately due to availability

If an item is out of stock:

  • We will contact you with options:

    • Ship available items now

    • Hold the order until everything is ready
