Fire Plug Ultimate kit

I'm a bit confused. Got 3 bags of fire starters, a lighter and spark stick and a bag to carry it in..... bag is made to carry a different kind of starter, in fact nothing I got really fits in the bag.........
don't know why I got the bag?

Anxious to use my Blackbeard Fireplugs, Ferro Rod & Plasma Lighter with my BioLite EcoZoom Versa stove! All I need to fully stock my kit is the original Blackbeard Firestarter braid. Perhaps next order. Also have to get a kit for my outdoorsman brother. He would love this!

Just wish there was a waterproof bag to store them after opening the plastic bag will not last long in backpack bouncing around. Going to see what I can find to attach to outside of pack for easy access

I feel itS a good price for what you get, but I have a little trouble as I’m apparently starting to get elderly twisting off those plugs. Actually quite a bit of trouble. Once I figured that lighter out, I may not need so many OK, thank you.

The ultimate kit comes as promised. A very handy case with plenty of storage. The ferro rod works perfectly, one strike onto a starter plug is all you need. The included plasma lighter is also flawless. Overall 10/10. Repeat customer for sure.

For $100 I feel shafted. The accessories case is a waste. The ferro rod, lighter and plugs (not rope) are maybe worth $40-$50. Lesson learned.

For $100 I'm not impressed. The carry bag is meant for the fire rope, not the fire plugs, so it is useless in my case. The lighter is decent and so is the ferro rod. The fire plugs are good. Between these three items though, this is maybe $50. Not money well spent IMO. Way too expensive for what it is and what you get. To much internet hype for mediocrity gear.

Everyone who sells these things advertises them as waterproof… In their rolled up state, maybe. But once you actually crack them open, they’re not waterproof. We just tried them during a rain storm the other day and the moment you crack them open and try to light them, they don’t light. Everything else seems cool.

Got this as a gift for my son and husband, they were very excited. They used the ferro rod and fire plug in the strong wind and it worked as advertised. Very happy with this purchase 🙂

Nice kit and storage bag. I haven’t used any of these products as they are for emergency purposes. I’ll test them in the spring during first camp. One thing I found disappointing was that this Ultimate kit didn’t include matches.

For pure portability and ease of use these can’t be beat! A little dab will do you so you don’t have to break the bank to stock up.

I’m very happy with your product. I’ve played with them in my backyard. Looking forward to use them on a couple camp trips coming up. The only thing that kept me from giving a 5-star rating is that I was told that my package came with a handy pocket tin as it showed in the video. It did not come in my package.

Used 3 to start a fire while camping in Wyoming. It was windy, but they got the Oak logs burning in about 5 minutes. The wind died down and it was a great time! Used 1 while camped in the wilderness in Montana and it just worked perfect. If you open them up like a flower, they work best!
